Click to buy the MoneySmart e-workbooks

No matter what part of the world you live in, we believe it is important to teach children about money. Thus our offering of the MoneySmart e-workbooks for kids and MoneySmart e-workbooks for teenagers: resources designed to help you teach children about money in a way practical, effective and of lasting impact.

About the workbooks

The MoneySmart workbooks were originally created for the UK market, but following demand from other parts of the world, the workbooks are now available as downloadable e-workbooks in a "Dollar", as well as "Euro edition".

They come in the following 2 age ranges:

  • The MoneySmart Money Management workbook for kids (aged 8 - 12) and
  • The MoneySmart Money Management workbook for Teens (aged 13 - 19).

You can now download the workbook, make copies for other siblings and make new copies once the current one is used up - all for a single download price of $12.50 or €10.50.

What the workbooks do

The workbooks help children learn how to budget, save and spend their money wisely: key skills that they need to make it in the real world. Through continuous practice and use of the workbooks, they will learn:

  • how to set and write down their financial goals
  • how to create a budget (the teen version)
  • how to keep track of all the money they receive, spend, save and give
  • how to assess their goals, monitor their progress and improve on past mistakes.

This education needs to start as early and as simply as possible. A simple habit of always saving 20% of their allowance or any money received from a young age can result in an adult that prioritises, sets goals, saves for the future, invests, spends within their means and hopefully ends up with the financial savvy to make wise consumer decisions.

What you can do

  • Visit our online shop and download the kid or teen workbook today.

You can also reinforce what the workbooks teach by helping your child set up a savings account, and demonstrating how a budget works in the real world. For instance, having a child that spends ages chatting away on the telephone may result in a telephone bill that is double the amount that was budgeted; which means that they may have to forfeit the day trip to Disney. Wow, now that's a great life lesson! I can assure you that the kids will be doing all they can to ensure that the next bill is within budget......

By giving your kids the tools they need to learn how to budget, save, and spend money wisely, you are helping them avoid the pitfalls of debt and money mismanagement in the future. This is just as important as their Maths, English or knowledge of the danger of talking to strangers. At $12.50 and €10.50 for the books, you can’t afford not to buy them.

So download a DOLLAR or EURO MONEYSMART e-workbook today to help your children start good financial habits that will last a lifetime! You can have one within minutes!
