18 Aug 2009: MoneySmartWorld working in partnership with the Financial Services Authority

As part of our committment to helping to promote financial capability in the UK, we are pleased to be working in partnership with the FSA to deliver financial capability in the workplace via the FSAs 'Making the most of your money' seminars. Promoting financial capability is a key part of the national strategy for raising financial capability and it's great to be working on the delivery of a programme that can help to improve the lives of many people.

25 July 2009: MoneySmartWorld at the Whitgift Centre in Croydon

An amazing saturday! The MoneySmartWorld team were at the London new business expo held at the Whitgift centre in Croydon. Opened by the Mayor of Croydon, we got such great feedback on our Money Management resources from kids, parents and teachers. The new series, Life Lessons with the MoneySmart Gang was a big hit with the under eights. Also popular was our play "cash register" and bowl of sweets. 

20 June 2009: MoneySmartWorld at the Collingwood School Summer Fete

Following the threat of light showers, this turned out to be a great summery day at Collingwood, and gave us the opportunity to give the parents and friends of Collingwood School a sneak preview of our new series, "Life Lessons with the MoneySmart Gang". Year 2 were particularly excited as the Mother's Day present had been read to them in class prior to the fete, and most of the children wanted autographed copies of the books. So on went the authors', "book signing author hat"..... What a marvellous day!

13 June 2009: Achieving Financial Peace at the at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury, London.

In response to an invite by the New Covenant Business School, Marianne Lewis, the founder of MoneySmartWorld delivered a series of money management seminars on how to achieve financial peace in the midst of the current economic climate. She provided great money/income management tips, information on potential multiple income streams and how to save and beat debt.
