KS1 - Making Money lessons fun through stories: an online page flipping money story book that teaches children aged 5-8 about setting goals, how money is earned and working together as a team to achieve their goal, in a fun and engaging way. It also has questions at the end which help to reinforce the key lessons learnt.
KS2 - Budgeting Lesson Plan: a money lesson plan used to teach key stage 2 pupils real life basic personal finance concepts and important fundamental budgeting skills.
KS2 to KS3 - Where Money Goes : a money lesson plan based on the financial capability curriculum for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students which asks them to think about what money is spent on. It gets them to recognise household expenses and regular financial commitments like rents and mortgages etc.
KS3 to KS4 - Credit Cards & Debt - Activity Worksheets : a printable credit card activity worksheet that can be used in conjunction with the KS3 & KS4 Lesson Plan on Credit cards and debt, or to support any other personal finance lesson on the implications of credit cards and staying out of debt.
KS3 to KS4: Teenage Millionaires handout – an informative and inspirational article on 24 teenagers who started businesses (some around the age of 10), and went on to become millionaires. This is a vital read for all teenagers. It can be used as the focus of a money lesson on business entrepreneurship or given as a handout for your pupils/teenagers to read at their leisure.
MoneySmartGang Question and Answer Sheets: downloadable sheets with suggested answers to the comprehension/story questions at the back of each of the MoneySmart Gang books. Feel free to download any of these and use them alongside the books to enhance or reinforce the key money concepts taught.
